It's not a negative, but I'd rather not use the dishwasher until you have the decorative door installed. It goes open just fine, however the springs are built for the load that is missing (unless the door is installed). Thus, the door goes back up on its own, and quite abruptly, and needs to be held when you put the dishes in.
Top basket for cutlery and small items
Smart - lots of settings in the app and remote triggering/monitoring
Tested only a few cycles so far, but dishes always clean even without polish
Opening the door after washing
There are also additional programs in the app
Adjustable top drawer
Someone wrote that the Czech instructions are missing. I got it in the package.
Smart unfortunately through the cloud
The door could be opened a little more, all the steam condenses on the top of the hob and takes a long time to evaporate - I recommend you secure the underside of the hob against moisture somehow
Too bad the dishwasher didn't come with a salt funnel. A lot of salt goes to the side, but not so much that it's worth buying an extra funnel
Potentially a plastic tub, dirt will probably stick in the joints with stainless steel

This is already our second dishwasher from Bosch; we also had a dishwasher from another brand and we weren't happy with it at all, it had a lot of flaws and a short lifespan. Now we have returned to Bosch again, as we are sure to get a reliable, convenient and high-quality dishwasher.

After 9 years my old dishwasher of another brand ran out of water (leaked water and a blown current protector). The new choice fell on the Bosch brand due to the fact that already 3 kitchen appliances of this brand have been working in my kitchen without any problems for a long time. The new dishwasher fit exactly into the existing built-in space left by the old dishwasher. Swapping the original door with the handle was also trouble-free. The graphical installation instructions were completely intuitive and clear.
Everything fits together during assembly
Large space for dishes
the top cutlery drawer seems better than the cutlery basket in the old dishwasher
quiet operation
missing salt hopper/quickener

After a long time of choosing, we finally took the Bosch SMH4EVX08E and we are very satisfied with it. The dishwasher is quiet, washes and dries beautifully and the cutlery drawer is very handy - we wouldn't want a basket at the bottom anymore. We find it spacious and well designed for normal family functioning. I also appreciate the automatic opening after washing, the dishes are not steamed. The programs are longer, but the result is worth it. For us, super value for money and looks better quality than the cheaper brands we've had the opportunity to see
