Alza has incorrectly stated that it meets the ÖNORM V 5117 standard, which is approved in Austria and which is only for steel chains, but in fact it only has the ÖNORM V 5121 standard. This standard is for alternative equipment, but is not approved for operation in Austria (after the mark commanding chains). Check out the manufacturer's website.
The standard textile chains do not comply with ÖNORM V 5117.
We can use them in the Czech Republic, so I will test them properly in the mountains.
They look good, seem good quality material
Super price
ÖNORM V 5117 certification incorrectly stated!

Hello,
Thank you for your review. However, ÖNORM V 5117 and ÖNORM V 5121 have been covered by the new EU standard EN 16662-1 for two years now, which is recognised in all EU countries including Austria, and these textile chains meet this standard, so you don't have to worry about taking the chains on a trip to Austria. Have a nice day, Alza.cz
