I needed a heatsink that would fit in a small cabinet that would not accommodate a 120mm hair dryer. This 92 mm version is also sufficient for the older intel dual core E5200 overclocked by 24% to 3.1 GHz at temperatures not exceeding 50 oC under normal load of 50-70%.

Perfectly cools an old Intel Core i7-870 without overclocking
Box cooler replacement
temperatures without load are on this CPU using ARCTIC MX-4 paste 38 degrees and when all cores go to 100% and I let the stress test run for 2 hours and the CPU temperature was MAX. 68 degrees which is a great value for this CPU at TPD 95W
for comparison the box cooler was 60 degrees without load and when I pulled it out properly it was 99 degrees and the CPU was radically underclocked to avoid destruction
this cooler is a great replacement and currently CPUs from INtel and AMD are cool as long as you don't want to clock and the performance is not extreme. I have an unlit box so I don't even know that there is a fan running
