Apart from the mentioned problem, there is basically no problem with it, and there is no problem to connect to "less secured" wifi.
I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to connect to a wifi network where a certificate is required. Connecting to such networks can only be done through software that is designed for this device and is installed from the included CD. Unfortunately, this software is not well written and cannot find the certificate I need to connect to the network. I haven't managed to bypass the software yet and it doesn't seem to work through classic windows settings. I may have to return this device.

It works without problems.
Weaker signal reception but it was to be expected since the small antenna is in the body of the adapter.
