I bought this smart thermostatic valve so I wouldn't have to get out of bed in the middle of the night. I regret it now. It wasn't clear which adapter to use for my radiator, and then fitting the valve itself onto the RA adapter was almost impossible. Then there's the controls. Whose idea was it to have the valve open based on temperature?!?! You set the temperature to 25°C, but guess what? The thermometer is in the valve head, where the surrounding area heats up instantly from the radiator, so the valve closes after a few minutes and doesn't heat the room at all. The app is a disaster. It constantly defaults to the schedule; wherever you click, it brings up the 'schedule', which is useless if you work different shifts every time. If you want to open the valve in the app, you have to adjust the temperature by sliding it in a tiny window, but even then, it only opens the valve for a few minutes before closing again. I've been trying to heat the room for 6 hours now, with no success. I will be returning it.

Hassle-free installation and battery replacement. The control is open/close by default, but in the settings you can also select the option of some kind of predictive mode. Everyone addresses ~ and I did too, that the wheels and reducers are plastic. But my old manual danfosss valve was also plastic. How it works I don't know, we have the temperature set to 21 but in our apartment building it is always about 23-24 degrees. We'll see when it's freezing.
