I debated for a long time whether to buy the Galaxy watch 5 Pro until the Venu 3 was introduced and it was the obvious choice. After some exploring, I'm already familiar with Venu 3 and I have no complaints about the hardware. A bit of a shock to me were the Garmin apps that you use with the watch, which I don't find tidy or intuitive at all. I waited a long time to see if V3 would come out and I'm glad I held out and didn't go for V2. The comparison I have is with the Huawei GT2, which I still consider a top watch. If Huawei could pay with watches, I would go for the GT3 PRO as I don't like the GT4, but the GT3 PRO looks perfect and the feel of their materials is just another league even compared to the Samsung. I use my V3 mainly for swimming and here again I have to say that Huawei's ceramic and titanium would probably be felt on rice at temps, so you wouldn't know about the V3 at all.
