If you're a magnet for mosquitoes and other biting insects like I am, this device can be a useful helper. After applying the heat, it can relieve the itching and generally reduce the unpleasant effects of a bite. Unfortunately, when you have a large number of bites, using it becomes less convenient. The device offers three intensity levels, which you have to switch between by repeatedly pressing the button. If you need to treat several spots, this means constant clicking to set the desired second or third level. Another disadvantage is the beeping sound with every button press. It's fine at first, but with more frequent use, the beeping can get quite annoying. Overall, the device works well and helps to relieve itching after a bite, but the control ergonomics could be better designed. There's a cheaper version from Lidl that you just place on the skin and it heats up, as simple as that.
It seems that the warming function slightly reduces the effect of the bite.
annoying to use - constantly switching modes
After a while, the switching sound becomes annoying.

It's worth the money
I don't understand how it's possible, but it really works.
On the third setting it gets really hot, but it's bearable and the results are instant.

At first, I didn't want to believe it could work at all. In the end, I'm glad I bought it. It works phenomenally. I've already ordered two more for the family.
A brilliantly simple device
works on 1
the swelling goes down quickly, or doesn't even appear
The itching disappears instantly.
It burns the children even on the lowest setting, but it's better in the long run than a week of itching and swelling.

I had a Noname from China that worked (really suppressed itching), but it didn't have a temperature control and had a battery that died after one season.
HARTMANN really works as promised: -)
It's battery operated, so there's no risk of it being a one-season
It has temperature control so it can be used for more sensitive people (children)
It works even on autumn velvet. It needs to be applied as soon as possible after the bite with the temperature set to the max you can stand
