So I even though I included two negative points (subjective) that weren't quite to my expectations - still giving the Headphones 5 star rating. The sound quality is good enough, they totally have your ears covered and they aren't tight so you can wear them long enough. They could be big for your kid though. Regarding noice cancellation - my wife was vacuum cleaning the floor when I was playing something in the headphones and I barely got distracted.
