The headphones have modes in bluetooth mode, I think vocal and normal, and in MP3 player swimming and normal. While normal in MP3 is not as great as in bluetooth mode in normal or vocal (bass boost). In swimming mode it definitely seems that the manufacturers have really put in the work, the sound is quieter has weaker "drums" but in the water it sounds fantastic. In water, in normal mode in mp3, the drums are stronger and the bass is mixed (so the sound sounds worse in water).
