So I was also tempted by the offer of a laptop for 2.990,- CZK. I chose the UMAX N14G Plus and I am pleasantly surprised. For comparison, I have a Dell Latitude 7800 (and an older Dell Latitude E7270) and it's incredible that for the price of a display or flashlight in a Dell, you can have a functional PC with a very high quality screen (at least compared to the E7270) and fairly snappy eMMC built-in storage. As for Windows 11, after a clean install I managed to get everything up and running fine! Even the microphones work. At first I had a lot of hardware in the device manager without drivers installed. So I downloaded this package from UMAX: http://download.umax.cz/MID/14Wg_Drivers.zip and for each device I put Update Driver -> Find Drivers on my computer and pointed it to the folder where I unzipped the 14Wg_Drivers.zip archive. Everything ran like clockwork. Just don't be fooled by the microphone "volume graph" in Control Panel -> Sound. There it looks like the microphone is not working (the graph is not moving), however, Viber, Skype, etc. normally record the sound. So good luck and I definitely recommend it for the money! The speed of the processor (N4100) and the speed of the RAM (DDR4 2400) make sure that office work (including web) runs smoothly even with only 4GB of RAM. One more comparison - I also have a Lenovo Flex 10 (4GB RAM, Pentium N3520, SSD drive) and although they should be similar, the work on the Umax is significantly faster, more pleasant and especially the display is incomparable. Not to mention the battery, which gives 7hours when watching youtube. For myself, I recommend it for everyday work or school. Ideally, however, it should be permanently placed on the desk as a desktop PC - I am concerned that frequent moving may wear out the design.
