In the end, I got a lot more than I expected for the price, so I'm satisfied; The described cons are, I think, quite negligible for occasional home printing, but I would not recommend it for a paper office.

the web control interface is ugly and not very intuitive
the printer has only two (yes, two) buttons and controlling it with a combination of short, medium and long presses is pretty psycho (like the power button - half of the equipment: short press normally does nothing, medium press turns it off, but it must not be overdone, because long press prints the status page. )

After our previous (inkjet) printer had quietly gone, surrounded by its users, each of whom were beating it with a Hornbach hammer, we were deciding what to replace it with. Conditions: small, quiet, ideally with a scanner, not too expensive, and no problems. The last straw for the previous printer was that when it ran out of yellow ink, it wouldn't even scan anymore. I tried this laser. It doesn't have a scanner, but otherwise I was pleasantly surprised! I was used to waiting for each page from the inkjet - this one is ready in 8 seconds after switching on and then spits out pages one after another! Every second another page flies out of it. and others. like the DuraCELL bunny. Unbelievable! He doesn't want anything, he doesn't bother with anything. It doesn't even beep! When it falls asleep (after ~15 seconds of inactivity), it always just clicks lightly and that's it. When I told the kids this one was called "phaser", they loved it and it became my remote control - instead of wifi, which, as with just about all printers in this price range, is very weak. Help: you need to set the printer on your home router to a fixed(! ) IP address, otherwise the already low chance of you connecting is reduced to zero. Or print via USB cable.
