Samsung Knox Vault je technologie, která uchovává na bezpečném místě šifrovaná data. Ta jsou uložena separátně od zbytku systému daného zařízení, kde by byla potenciálně v nebezpečí. Díky oddělenému úložišti jsou mimo dosah útoků a hrozeb, mezi které může patřit i přepětí, vysoká teplota či útoky laserem.
O zabezpečení těch nejcitlivějších dat, jakými jsou zdravotní záznamy, hesla, PINy, platební karty služby Samsung Pay či biometrické údaje, se stará Samsung Knox Vault procesor. Samsung Knox Vault protokol pak přenáší data z odděleného úložiště Samsung Knox Vault storage.
