Line continuity measurement (buzzer)

The continuity mode uses a low test voltage and current to verify that the resistance between the prongs does not exceed 20-50 Ω typically. An audible signal (buzzer) sounds when the circuit is closed, allowing the wiring to be monitored without visual contact with the display. The function is indispensable when looking for wire breaks, identifying paired cores or quickly checking fuses.
