The bulb light output is indicated by its brightness and for high-quality bulbs this value generally lies between 1400 and 1500 lumens. 55 W is the officially approved wattage, or 60 W for light bulbs with a H4 socket. The recommended voltage depends on the car: choose a 12 V bulb for a personal vehicle and 24 V for a lorry. Bulbs can be purchased either individually or in practical sets, which also contain a license plate bulb, turn signal bulbs, fuses, etc.
