Brand history
In 1900, Dr Lifschütz made a significant discovery in the field of pharmacy when he developed the world's first emulsifying agent. He named it Eucerin, which is Greek for "beautiful wax". At the time, Eucerin was seen as a revolution in medicine.
Eucerin was first marketed in 1903 as an emulsifier. In 1911, Dr Troplowitz acquired the patent rights for German company Beiersdorf, which introduced the first Eucerin powder. From that moment on, the Eucerin brand has produced high-quality medical-grade skincare products, and the brand has gone from strength to strength.
