LP Record "Submarine" is a film adaptation of Joe Dunthorne's novel and the directorial debut of Richard Ayoade, who is famous for his role as Maurice Moss in the British television series The IT Crowd. The mini soundtrack for the film "Submarine" is not the first collaboration between Turner and Ayoade: in addition to the music videos for "Fluorescent Adolescent", "Crying Lightning", and "Cornerstone", Ayoade was also behind the 2008 concert DVD "Arctic Monkeys At The Apollo".
