Organisers

Organisers are plastic cases and bags for storing and transporting tools and small parts such as nuts, bolts, nuts, beads, thread, etc. They feature several storage compartments, both large and small, allowing for easy organisation of your tools and spare parts.

Types of organiser

  • Classic organiser - features a tray with several small compartments, ideal for storing screws, nails, etc.
  • Case - equipped with several small drawers for sorting smaller materials. A larger storage space is found in the lower part of the case, which is ideal for storing larger tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, etc. Cases come with handles for easy carrying, while some larger models feature wheels and retractable handles.
  • Bag - big enough to carry a saw, a hammer or a hatchet. Unlike cases, they don't have a fixed shape, meaning they can hold less compact electrical equipment such as drills, sanders, planers, etc.

  • Plastic - not as strong as steel, but is considerably lighter, not to mention cheaper.
  • Steel - more durable, but heavier; steel organisers provide better protection for valuable tools (e.g. power tools).

Additional features

  • Water resistance - most organisers can last for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter without letting water in.
  • Wheels - for easier transportation (particularly handy if you are transporting heavy tools).
  • Thermal insulation - some expensive organisers feature compartments that are thermally insulated, making them ideal for storing frozen foods.
