What Makes Printing with Inkjet Printers Easier?

  • Inkjet printers use a refill tank system which allows you to refill ink directly into the cartridge, i.e. into the print cartridge, using an ink bottle. This system results in lower printing costs, and since fewer print cartridges are used, inkjet printers are ecological and greener to use.
  • Inkjet printers have Airprint. You can print wirelessly, via Wi-Fi, from your mobile phone or computer, or even from another room.

The Main Disadvantages of Inkjet Printers

  • If not used for a long time, the ink dries out and can clog the nozzles.
  • Most of the ink is not waterproof and the print fades after a long time in the light.

Printers are an essential addition to every office and home. Inkjet printers are very widespread, having gained popularity during the 1990s, when they gradually became more affordable. Due to their balanced price-performance ratio, inkjet printers are now the most popular printer type. Inkjet printers generally deliver high-quality printing at a low cost, making them ideal for households and small businesses.

How do inkjet printers work?

One positive aspect of inkjet printers is their relatively high printing speed, while a disadvantage is their higher costs. Inkjet printers operate using microscopic drops of ink that are transferred at high speed from the print head to the paper. Some inkjet printers have a function that allows you to change the volume of these drops, which in turn affects the print quality.

Multifunction inkjets

Multifunction inkjet printers combine the functions of a printer, a copier, a scanner, and sometimes a fax, saving space in the office as well as money. 

Photo printers

For amateur and professional photographers, photo printers provide high-quality output with rich colours and sharp contasts. Printers with WiFi are able to connect wirelessly to online photographic services. WiFi also allows you to print directly from smartphones and tablets using special applications.
