  • Higher maximum load (up to 10 kg)
  • Weighing accuracy within 20 g
  • Larger dimensions; the weighing bowl is part of the scales

Digital scales

  • Max. load 5 kg
  • Weighing accuracy within 1-2 grams, but may be as low as 0.1 g
  • Smaller dimensions
  • Special features:
    • TARE - deducts the weight of the container when weighing; can also be used when adding extra ingredients
    • Aquatronic - measures the volume of fluid
    • Options for selecting different units of measurement
