LP Record Passionate hillbillies: the debut album from the Canadian roots band. Folk music is no longer just for a select few; it's enjoyed by the majority. At least in North America, where the roots movement is captivating more and more people. The Dead South hail from Regina in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The four-piece band's music (long-haired-bearded-man quota: 75 percent) is a blend of bluegrass, folk, and rock. "Good Company" is their debut album, following their 2013 EP ("The Ocean Went Mad And We Were To Blame"), which featured the song "Honey You". Guitars, a banjo, a kick drum, a mandolin, and a cello played like a bass accompany multi-part vocals and plenty of backwoods enthusiasm.
