Jiří Krejčík first adapted the play for television, then staged it on the stage of the Drama Club, and then filmed it. It's a wacky comedy about one night and early morning adventures set in a strictly run boarding house for single gentlemen. The main roles were given to Iva Janžurová, Josef Abrhám, Jiří Hrzán and the star of the pre-war film Věra Ferbasová.
