LP Record When I wrote about John Coltrane on the back of the Mating Call album, I considered his previous experience playing with Eddie Vinson, Dizzy Gillespie, Earl Bostic, Johnny Hodges and Miles Davis. I wrote, “It is apparent from his employment record that he has not burst upon the scene full-blown. It is rather that he has been paying his dues for some time.” This is a time of great build-up. Film stars, TV personalities, presidential candidates, soaps for use in washing machines; they are all sold to the public in the same way. With the advent of hi-fi, the LP record boom and Madison Avenue's discovery of "jazz", musicians are also receiving similar treatment. Every other month, we are greeted with albums by new stars.
LP Record Everything Everything's album "Raw Data Feel", released in 2022, is a testament to the band's innovative approach to music. The album features a diverse collection of tracks that showcase their signature blend of art rock and pop with electronic influences. Among the fourteen songs, listeners can enjoy the pulsating rhythms of "Leviathan", the intricate melodies of "Hex", and the introspective lyrics of "Teletype". The album also includes the emotionally charged "I Want A Love Like This" and the socially reflective "Bad Friday". The band delves into storytelling with "Pizza Boy", while "Jennifer" offers a more personal narrative.

Released in 2008, this album serves as a retrospective of the band's most influential years, featuring a selection of their biggest hits and fan favourites. The new "Bootleg Series Vol. 1–3" includes five 180g LPs. This is the first instalment of the series featuring rare recordings. The sampler was originally released in 1991 and features Dylan, T Bone Burnett, Sly Dunbar, Emmylou Harris, George Harrison, Mark Knopfler, Mick Taylor and many more. LP Record Transatlantic have never been a band to back down from a challenge. It should come as no surprise, then, that Neal Morse, Roine Stolt, Pete Trewavas and Mike Portnoy are doing something unusual for their fifth album. “We came up with something unprecedented,” Portnoy said proudly. “We have two versions of this album. There's a 2CD version ('Forevermore'), which is 90 minutes long, and a single CD version ('The Breath Of Life'), which is 60 minutes long. The single CD is NOT an edited version of the double CD. These are new recordings. We used different approaches to the songs to create them! We've written new lyrics, and different people sing on the single CD version than on the double CD version. We've rearranged the songs to make the two versions distinct.”
LP Record “Ballade Pour Adeline” turned the blond Frenchman into a global star overnight – and from then on, everything he played on his piano turned to gold. This album features the most famous hits from Richard Clayderman, whose soft, dreamy sound made him every mother-in-law's dream all over the world!
LP Record A genre-spanning synthesis of the arts. Musician, singer, producer, sound engineer and progressive rock icon Steven Wilson presents his eagerly awaited new album in 2021. 'The Future Bites' is the title of the British artist's sixth solo album, following up his 2017 record 'To The Bone'. Wilson wrote and recorded a total of nine new songs for the album, which he co-produced with David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything). The album's content revolves primarily around the addictions of the 21st century. 'The Future Bites' explores the human mind in the age of the internet and takes a curious look into the future. The musician gave a preview of the new album's sound back in March with the release of the ten-minute track 'Personal Shopper'.
