LP Record Miles Davis: Jack Johnson (Original Soundtrack Recording) is an album released in 1971 by Miles Davis. The album was recorded as the soundtrack for the 1970 film of the same name, which was directed by John Schlesinger and starred the boxer Jack Johnson. The album was Davis's first release after leaving Columbia Records in 1969 and his first with Warner Bros. Records. Davis assembled a large band for the album, including guitarists George Benson and John McLaughlin, organist Herbie Hancock, and drummer Billy Cobham. The album features long, improvised jazz pieces and has been described as a "landmark in the history of jazz fusion".

Records. The album features a diverse mix of musical styles, including funk, R&B, pop, and rock. It is best known for hits such as the sultry track "Cream", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the title track "Diamonds and Pearls", a romantic ballad by Prince. Other notable tracks include the socially conscious "Money Don't Matter 2 Night", the upbeat dancefloor favourite "Gett Off", and the smooth groove of "Insatiable".

LP Record Sunday at the Village Vanguard is a groundbreaking jazz album by The Bill Evans Trio, recorded live on 25 June 1961 at the Village Vanguard in New York City. This album captures the brilliant interplay between pianist Bill Evans, bassist Scott LaFaro, and drummer Paul Motian. Tragically, this was the final recording to feature LaFaro, who died in a car accident just ten days after the performance. The album is renowned for its exceptional sound quality and the trio's innovative approach to both standards and original compositions. The tracklist showcases the trio's dynamic range with pieces like "Gloria's Step" and "Jade Visions", both composed by LaFaro, as well as a captivating rendition of "My Man's Gone Now" from Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess".
LP Record Natty Dread is Bob Marley's most popular studio album, featuring many hits such as Lively Up Yourself and No Woman No Cry. It is Marley's first album without Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh. ROLLING STONE ALBUM GUIDE ***** "'Natty Dread' crowns the revamped Wailers at an ambitious peak. 'No Woman No Cry' features Marley's most soulful, moving vocal performance." F. Schöler in Stereo 9/01: "With original songs like 'Bend Down Low', 'Revolution', and 'Lively Up Yourself', 'Natty Dread' is essentially the best Wailers album ever in terms of song quality."

LP Record Few bands have revitalised French pop over the last decade quite like La Femme, and they're arriving in 2021 to make all our lives better. Paradigmes, their highly anticipated third album, offers a shift in perception – a kaleidoscopic whirlwind into another, more vibrant dimension. Following Psycho Tropical Berlin (2013) and Mystère (2016), both of which achieved gold status in France and led to hundreds of concerts worldwide, the band from Paris and Biarritz continues to astound with this new album. On it, you'll hear everything from coldwave to yé-yé, from Kraftwerk to The Velvet Underground, all distilled, sequenced, and psychedelically tweaked to sound unmistakably like La Femme.
LP Record The Bill Evans Trio's 1962 album, Waltz For Debby, is considered a jazz classic. The album was recorded live at the Village Vanguard and features the trio of Bill Evans on piano, Scott LaFaro on double bass, and Paul Motian on drums. The album is acclaimed for its lyrical and melodic playing and is cited as an influence by many jazz musicians.
LP Record In 1962, Bill Evans headed to the Riverside Records studio to make the first recordings with his newly formed trio. This was a major challenge for the pianist. He could still rely on drummer Paul Motian, who had been playing with him since 1959. However, the tragic death of bassist Scott LaFaro in a car accident on 6th July 1961 left a painful void in the trio. This was filled by Chuck Israels, who had previously played in George Russell's sextet and briefly in Eric Dolphy's band. The "Moon Beams" recordings reveal just how deeply Evans was shaken by LaFaro's death. It was Evans's first purely ballad album, and the musical mood reflected the pianist's sombre and melancholic state of mind.
LP Record Expanded anniversary edition of "OK Computer". Exactly 20 years ago, Radiohead released their legendary album "OK Computer", which has long since achieved cult status. "OK Computer" is Radiohead's third album, originally released in Germany on 16 June 1997. It was produced by Nigel Godrich. The album's most famous tracks include classics such as "Paranoid Android", "Karma Police", "Lucky", and "No Surprises". With "OK Computer", Radiohead reached number one in the UK charts for the first time, cementing their final breakthrough.
LP Record Ghøstkid's music delves deep into darkness and aggression. It's repulsive and alluring at the same time; it's heavy, yet maintains an unmistakable sense for catchy melodies. Ghøstkid is the new alter ego of Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler (ex-Eskimo Callboy), who has gathered a group of like-minded friends to bring this project to life: Steve Joakim (drums) from Sweden, along with Danny Güldener (guitar) and Stanislaw Czywil (bass), who were both previously in To The Rats And Wolves. It all began when Sushi picked up a guitar in October 2019 and wrote the first song. In that moment, he realised Ghøstkid was in his blood and needed a platform. "I've followed my heart with this from the very beginning," explains Sushi.
