DVD Film - DVD film 1941 [1979]. Czech dubbing. Czech subtitles. Dolby Digital. Director Steven Spielberg's wacky comedy masterpiece was nominated for three Academy Awards. Spectacular and spectacular scenes along with world-class actors are the main strengths of the film, which is set in Los Angeles just days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, when the fear of a Japanese invasion plunged the city into a state of Pandemonium - total chaos. A hodgepodge of confused characters run around Hollywood Boulevard - angry soldiers, eager businessmen, weepy girls and quarrelsome Nazis - and together they make a sweet concoction full of jokes, in which Spielberg also took the liberty of parodying the opening shots of his own film Jaws.
