King Crimson: Earthbound
LP Record Originally released in 1972, Earthbound was one of the first bootlegs (if not the very first) by a major rock group. Earthbound consists of a series of lo-fi live recordings from the band's Island Tour era lineup in the USA. In the UK, it was initially excluded from the main album chart due to its mid-price point, but it topped the mid-price chart alongside Jim Reeves & Mantovani. Like the later live album USA, Earthbound was not released on CD for many years, and it wasn't until 2002 that both USA and Earthbound were issued on CD.

The album was produced by the band and George Young, the older brother of AC/DC's Angus and Malcolm Young. The first single from the album, "Nervous Shakedown", was a moderate hit, reaching number 39.
