LP Record Recorded between 1954 and 1956 in Nashville, New York, and Memphis, this was the first rock 'n' roll album to top the charts, where it remained for 10 weeks and became the genre's first million-selling album. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it 56th on its list of the greatest albums of all time.

LP Record A soundtrack for self-reflection Fans have been waiting a long time for this. With "A Wilderness Of Mirrors", The Black Angels finally return after a five-year album hiatus. Indeed, the successor to "Death Song" makes up for it with an incredible fifteen tracks and a full hour of runtime. And, of course, with the kind of contemporary psych-rock that very few bands can deliver. The album's concept and title, much like the band's name, are a nod to The Velvet Underground. "The Velvet Underground song 'I'll Be Your Mirror' is essentially what every one of our albums is about," reveals singer and bassist Alex Maas. "You can't solve your problems unless you bring them out and reflect on them.

LP Record Released in 2009, Slayer's album World Painted Blood is an aggressive and dark thrash metal record. The album is packed with fast-paced tracks that will get your heart pounding, and it's sure to please fans of Slayer's earlier work. While the album isn't as groundbreaking as some of Slayer's previous records, it is still a solid effort that is well worth your attention.

LP Record The renowned composer and director John Carpenter and his creative collaborators, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, have also contributed to the soundtrack for the second instalment of the new "Halloween" trilogy, "Halloween Kills". Just like the film itself, Carpenter's score remains faithful to the spirit of what made the 1978 original so brilliant, while firmly bringing it into the modern day. The music is unmistakably John Carpenter: dark vintage synthesiser sounds, and a breathtaking sense of menace conjured by just a few dissonant notes.
