LP Record Miles Davis's first classic quintet was formed in 1955 and is widely regarded as one of the finest combos in jazz history. Cookin' was the first of a series of four albums the group recorded between May and October 1956. The programme features some tracks that the quintet played live and others that were apparently improvised on the spot and had never been recorded before. Sonny Rollins' composition "Airegin" was recorded by Miles with Milt Jackson and Rollins on 29 June 1954 for the album Bags' Groove. "Blues by Five", credited to Miles and Red Garland, is most likely a blues written on the spot. Two tracks from the quintet's first Prestige LP have been added as a bonus.

LP Record There are few albums that can be called pivotal moments in dark music over the last decade, and one of them is She Past Away's 2012 album Belirdi Gece (which translates as "the night has appeared"). You could say that this LP, a monumental part of the scene's landscape, defined the darkwave genre in 2010. The album – created by Volkan Caner, Idris Akbulut, and Doruk Öztürkcan from Bursa, Turkey – emerged out of nowhere and slowly crept up on unsuspecting fans of the genre. She Past Away immediately felt like a reincarnation of the Sisters of Mercy, with their biting drum machine driving Caner's roaring vocals, sung in Turkish.

LP Record "Summoning The Circle" is a 2018 album from the German death metal group Obscenity. This brutal and intense record showcases the band's dedication to the genre with a collection of nine tracks that deliver relentless riffs, aggressive drumming, and guttural vocals. The album opens with "Used And Abused", which sets the merciless tone for what's to come. Tracks like "Feasting From The Dead" and "Infernal Warfare" continue to pound the listener with heavy soundscapes, while "Dreadfully Embraced" and "Scourge Of Humanity" offer a glimpse of technical prowess interwoven with melodic brutality.

LP Record On his new album "In A Time Lapse", Ludovico Einaudi reflects on the realisation that life is finite and how this affects our feelings and experiences. He creates a moving soundtrack for a kind of time-lapse film about life, a phenomenon known, for example, from the accounts of people who have had near-death experiences. "The moment we realise that our time on earth is finite is of fundamental importance. Because that's precisely where we begin our attempt to transcend the limits of our thinking and experience every moment with the same intensity as we did in childhood," Einaudi explains the philosophical background of his album.

Thanks to his distinctive voice, the whole world called the singer, actor, and entertainer Frank Sinatra (1915–98) The Voice. This made him the epitome of a crooner. Crooning describes a style of singing that emerged in the 1920s with the development of the microphone. It is characterised by an intimate, warm, and sometimes strongly sexually-charged voice. Sinatra's musical career began in the swing era as a singer with the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey orchestras. Concert and radio performances with Dorsey quickly made Sinatra famous across the country and encouraged him in his plans for a solo career.
