Jaga Jazzist: Pyramid CLR
LP Record Jaga Jazzist will return on 7th August 2020 with their new album "Pyramid", which sees the legendary eight-piece Norwegian collective delve into their post-rock, jazz and psychedelic influences. It is their first album since 2015's "Starfire", the ninth in their four-decade career, but also the group's debut on Brainfeeder, Flying Lotus's L.A.-based label. On "Pyramid", Jaga Jazzist have developed a cosmic sound fitting for their new label, citing influences from their predecessors, from the 80s jazz band Out To Lunch and Norwegian synth guru Ståle Storløkken to contemporaries like Tame Impala, Todd Terje and Jon Hopkins.
