LP Record Following an exceptionally long year of personal change and almost manic creative activity, Canadian musician Devin Townsend released the follow-up to his highly acclaimed album "Empath" in 2019. Titled "Lightwork", the album was assembled from a flood of material written during the pandemic. It represents a new level for him, becoming one of the most accessible yet ambitious titles of his extensive career. The project, which Devin had envisioned since his teenage years (and flirted with throughout his career), is a more melodic and direct album with a great producer to back it up. This is where Garth Richardson comes in: a Vancouver-based producer with a long résumé and a long-time friend of Devin's.

LP Record De La Soul Is Dead is the second studio album by the American hip hop trio De La Soul, released on 14 May 1991. The album is a significant departure from the upbeat tone of their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising, featuring a darker, more introspective sound that reflects the group's reaction to their sudden fame and the expectations that came with it. The cover art features a broken flowerpot, symbolising the death of the D.A.I.S.Y. Age (an acronym for "da inner sound, y'all") aesthetic with which they had become associated. The album contains a range of eclectic samples and skits, continuing De La Soul's reputation as innovators within the hip hop genre.
