LP Record Borknagar is the debut studio album from the eponymous Norwegian black metal band, formed in 1995. It is their only album to feature lyrics in Norwegian. All songs were written by the band's founder, Øystein Garnes Brun. The Norwegian avant-garde black metal innovators Borknagar are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album's release. For the album "Borknagar", guitarist Øystein G. Brun joined forces with like-minded musicians from Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Arcturus, Immortal, and Ulver in 1996 to push the boundaries of what was then considered "traditional" black metal.

LP Record Whenever Ruban Nielson thinks about the past, memories come flooding back. It’s called a duplicity of events. At least, that's what I call it. Ruban then tries to untangle the threads of his past, a leisure activity doomed to fail, as these threads float like invisible nets that only occasionally shimmer, for instance, when sunlight hits them at just the right angle. However, the untangled threads do at least offer new perspectives on past relationships. Which leads to the following result: On the album "Multi-Love", UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA's frontman and multi-instrumentalist Ruban Nielson reflects on relationships. Whereas on "II" Nielson dealt with the pain of being alone, on "Multi-Love" he explores the complications of being together.

The soundtrack is by Japanese composer and arranger Yuki Hayashi, known for his soundtracks to TV series, anime, and films like Triangle, Zettal Reido, and Diabolik Lovers. He also wrote the soundtracks for all four parts of the "My Hero Academia" series and the first film, "My Hero Academia: Two Heroes". In a world full of heroes with superpowers, the sinister villain Nine is trying to destroy the entire superhero organisation.

This means that even more than a drummer and bandleader, the 38-year-old musician sees himself as an arranger, producer, and someone who brings things together in his own unique way. This is how McCraven's 2015 album "In The Moment" came to be. On it, the American with French roots took 48 hours of improvised live material, recorded over twelve months at 28 concerts, and crafted a cohesive collection of 19 songs with organic beat music. "In These Times" revisits this approach, but as the title suggests, Makaya McCraven has a different scope in 2022. The Chicago native has been working on the album in the background for over seven years.
