LP Record The legendary Weezer make their vinyl debut once again
Weezer have only recently released their new studio album, "White Album", and now there's sensational news for all Weezer fans, especially the fanatical vinyl collectors. In 2016, the alternative rock icons from Los Angeles are re-releasing their first six studio albums on 180g heavyweight vinyl.
"Weezer (Blue Album)" is the band's debut. It was originally released in 1994. The album features a total of ten songs, including famous classics like "Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So". It was recorded at Electric Lady Studios with producer Ric Ocasek. During the recording sessions, guitarist Jason Cropper left the band and was replaced by Brian Bell, who remains part of Weezer to this day.
LP Record Still 100% Ozzy, Ozzy Osbourne kept his fans waiting a whole decade for his last album, "Ordinary Man". The follow-up has arrived much faster, with "Patient Number 9" being released just two years after the last record, appropriately on the 9th of September. On the one hand, this was likely because the Prince of Darkness was able to dedicate time to the studio that he had planned for his big farewell tour, "No More Tours II". On the other hand, it's rumoured that Ozzy Osbourne was so thrilled with his collaboration with producer Andrew Watt on the last album that he couldn't wait to work with him again. "Patient Number 9" offers 13 new songs from Ozzy and, at a good hour in length, is also pleasantly generous.

LP Record A perfect Chopin moment: Martha Argerich's legendary 1965 album on vinyl "I stole a glance into the studio to make sure that the flood of sound was really coming from the tiny girl sitting at the piano. It was unbelievable... She came into the control room, looked at me and beamed, because she knew what a tremendous impression she had made on me." What happened in June 1965, described here by producer Suvi Raj Grubb, made recording history: a young Martha Argerich, winner of the 1965 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, recorded her first recital as an exclusive EMI artist. It became one of the most famous classical music albums. Now, for the pianist's 75th
LP Record 77 is the debut album from David Byrne and his bandmates. "With this record, The Talking Heads were ahead of their time, yet still managed to sound strangely familiar. And that's what makes "Talking Heads: 77" a groundbreaking and one of the best albums of the decade." (mariastacks.de)

LP Record The year 2021 marks 40 years since the US release of the album Blizzard of Ozz. This reissue of the hard rock masterpiece features Ozzy's musical collaboration with the late guitar hero Randy Rhoads. LP Record Rancid – the legendary punk rockers from the Bay Area – return in 2023 with their tenth studio album, Tomorrow Never Comes, on Epitaph Records. Hailing from the blue-collar city of Berkeley, California, Rancid has been a living, breathing punk rock band for over a quarter of a century. In 1991, after the demise of their beloved and still influential first band, Operation Ivy, founding members Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar) and Matt Freeman (bass, vocals) decided to do the impossible – start an even better band. And so, Rancid was born. The band signed with Epitaph Records and released their self-titled debut album, "Rancid", in 1993.
