LP Record A new testament With "Magma", Gojira releases their new album in 2016. Released by Roadrunner Records, this is the sixth studio effort from the French metal combo. In November 2014, the band began building their own studio in the Queens borough of New York City: Silver Cord Studio. Once it was completed in early 2015, Gojira started writing and recording the new album. However, these sessions were put on hold for a time due to a death in the family of singer Joe and drummer Mario Duplantier. In early 2016, they finally completed the recording and mixing.
