Cowboy Bebop by Hajime Yatate is the Japanese anime series from the late 90s, based on the manga of the same name. The plot is set in the future and mixes classic science fiction elements with pieces of film noir, western, kung-fu and gangster drama. The story begins in the year 2071 and follows the adventures of the crew of the spaceship Bebop.

The Scottish band, featuring Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie, and Simon Raymonde, was one of the most influential bands of the 1980s.
