LP Record On ELO's fourth album, Lynne made an important innovation. "Eldorado" is the first album for which Jeff Lynne hired an orchestra; on previous albums, Lynne had added strings by overdubbing. Lynne hired string arranger Louis Clark and used a full orchestra for the band's recordings. This approach immediately paid off with the ambitious album Eldorado in September 1974, which increased the band's worldwide popularity and perfected the approach that would bear fruit in the coming years.
LP Record Fungus Amongus is the debut album from California's Incubus and (from the band's historical perspective) a rough, unpolished diamond that provokes and polarises with its aggressive sound. The wild mix of their second album, S.C.I.E.N.C.E., was crafted into an exciting melange under the studio guidance of producer Jim Wirt, presenting itself as "alternative" in the truest sense of the word. Incubus comes across as fresh and powerful – iron-hard riffs and venomous lyrics are their forte. Their third CD, Make Yourself (1999), sold over two million copies in the States, remained on the LP charts for a solid two years, and was certified double platinum – even though it never climbed higher than number 47 on the charts.

The monumental shows were set against a backdrop of the UK slowly recovering from a decade-long recession. After 1980, the mood of the nation had changed. A cultural renaissance in arts and culture gave rise to 'Cool Britannia', and Oasis, with their meteoric rise, embodied this newfound optimism and swagger.

LP Record MUNA is magical. What other band could possibly brand the desolate year of 2021 with sequins and pom-poms, making you sing (and perhaps even believe) "Life's so fun, life's so fun" during possibly the most difficult period of your life? "Silk Chiffon", MUNA's instant cult classic featuring their new label boss Phoebe Bridgers, broke through the grey skies of a year-and-a-half-long pandemic like a double rainbow.

The band's only album, Temple of the Dog, was released in 1991. Ament, Gossard, and McCready were also members of Mother Love Bone, which disbanded after the death of their frontman, Andrew Wood. It was released on 16th April 1991 through A&M Records. The album was both a critical and commercial success, reaching number five on the Billboard 200 chart.
LP Record The concert was recorded on 22 November 2001 at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam with the European Festival Orchestra, conducted by Wilhelm Keitel. The band asked keyboardist Rick Wakeman to perform at this concert, but he was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. Tom Brislin took his place on the tour. All the great riffs are there, and Jon Anderson's voice sounds just as it did back then. As for the symphonic interpretation under Wilhelm Keitel, the orchestra plays more of a supporting role here.
