The Distillers: Sing Sing Death House Ltd Clr
LP Record The improvements on her very good debut album "Sing Sing Death House" chronicle her struggle for self-realisation and are much more than just punk screams; they are particularly piercing when her throaty growl is fully unleashed. The track "Seneca Falls", a tribute to the women's suffrage movement backed by gravelly guitars and a thundering bassline, features an exceptional, goosebump-inducing, though unintelligible, chorus that soars above the music thanks to the emotional quality of Brody's roar. Otherwise, the music from this band of lip-pierced gutter punks is quite thrilling.
Rancid: Tomorrow Never Comes Ltd Clr
LP Record Rancid – the legendary punk rockers from the Bay Area – return in 2023 with their tenth studio album, Tomorrow Never Comes, on Epitaph Records. Hailing from the blue-collar city of Berkeley, California, Rancid has been a living, breathing punk rock band for over a quarter of a century. In 1991, after the demise of their beloved and still influential first band, Operation Ivy, founding members Tim Armstrong (vocals, guitar) and Matt Freeman (bass, vocals) decided to do the impossible – start an even better band. And so, Rancid was born. The band signed with Epitaph Records and released their self-titled debut album, "Rancid", in 1993.
Transplants: Transplants Ltd clr
LP Record Transplants is the debut studio album from the American punk rock/rap rock supergroup of the same name, released on 22 October 2002. The group consists of Tim Armstrong (of Rancid), Travis Barker (of Blink-182) and Rob Aston. The album blends various genres including punk rock, hip hop, reggae and rock, creating a distinctive sound that reflects the diverse musical backgrounds of its members. Notable tracks like "Diamonds And Guns" and "D.J. D.J." received significant airplay, with the former featuring an unforgettable piano riff that became widely recognised after being used in a Garnier Fructis shampoo commercial.
