Helmet types

Full Face

The most common type - suitable for roadsters
Closed design - protects the face and chin. Plexiglas protects against wind, road debris, and gravel.
Pros: full head protection
Cons: higher weight

Open Face

Suitable for riding on a scooter, chopper, or cruiser
For models without a plexiglas visor, we recommend purchasing protective eyewear.
Pros: lower purchase price and weight
Cons: not as safe as full face helmets; incomplete wind protection

Cross

Designed for motocross and off-road riding. They have a fixed, pre-positioned chin protector and are designed for lower speeds.
Pros: low weight, helmet visor protects against the sun and mud, jaw and chin protection
Cons: limited usefulness - only for motocross bikes and slow rides; they become uncomfortable during long rides and their aerodynamics aren’t the best, making them unsuitable for fast street motorcycles.
