King Crimson: Earthbound

LP Record Originally released in 1972, Earthbound was one of the first bootlegs (if not the very first) by a major rock group. Earthbound consists of a series of lo-fi live recordings from the band's Island Tour era lineup in the USA. In the UK, it was initially excluded from the main album chart due to its mid-price point, but it topped the mid-price chart alongside Jim Reeves & Mantovani. Like the later live album USA, Earthbound was not released on CD for many years, and it wasn't until 2002 that both USA and Earthbound were issued on CD.

It is their first work with Zak Stevens as vocalist and the last with Criss Oliva on guitar: Criss died in a car accident on 7th October 1993 after this album's release. His tragic death marked a terrible period for his bandmates, especially for his brother Jon, who decided to end Savatage. Fortunately, he changed his mind after the release of the album "Handful Of Rain", which was intended to be Savatage's postscript. "Edge Of Thorns" is a mature work and represents another step forward in the musical evolution of this unique band.

AC/DC: Flick Of The Switch (50th Anniversary)

LP Record Released in 1983, Flick of the Switch was AC/DC's tenth studio album. The album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and mixed at Electric Lady Studios in New York. It was the band's first album recorded with new drummer Simon Wright, who replaced Phil Rudd. The album was produced by the band and George Young, the older brother of AC/DC's Angus and Malcolm Young. The album was not as successful as the band's previous albums, only reaching number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. In 2006, the album reached number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The first single from the album, "Nervous Shakedown", was a moderate hit, reaching number 39.
