LP Record Adrianne Lenker's "Songs and Instrumentals" is a double album released on 23 October 2020 by the American indie folk musician, known as the singer and guitarist of Big Thief. The album was recorded in a one-room cabin in the woods of western Massachusetts after the pandemic brought her band's touring schedule to a halt. It is divided into two parts: the first, "Songs", features eleven tracks with intimate, acoustic arrangements that showcase Lenker's evocative songwriting and delicate guitar work. The second part, "Instrumentals", consists of two long instrumental pieces titled "Music For Indigo" and "Mostly Chimes", which create a meditative and atmospheric counterpoint to the more structured songs.
