Ultrabooks can handle performance-intensive work with graphics software and specialised applications. They work smoothly and without a hitch even when you have lots of different processes running in the background. A proper ultrabook must have:

  1. A modern and efficient Intel Core i5 processor and newer.
  2. At least one USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly 3.1 Gen 1) or Thunderbolt port.
  3. A fast SSD.
  4. Battery life of least 5 hours.
  5. A thin unibody frame - usually made of metal.
