I waited a long time for it to make more sense, and this year it finally did :) (upgrading from the last generation of plasma). Overall, the generational leap is noticeable. A calibrated picture in a darkened room might not be that much different, but as a system overall, it definitely is. As of this year, you don't have to wait until next year for the latest generation panel or processor in the C series. This year, the 77" and 83" sizes already have the new '4-stack' panel (the higher G series only has even higher brightness thanks to better cooling), but for me, the panel in the C series is more than good/excellent. I completed the setup with an SC9S soundbar and I'm very happy; it really elevates the acoustic experience (a bonus is the direct mounting integration with the TV, which is possible up to a maximum size of 77"). Anyone who needs studio-quality music obviously won't buy this, but you do have the option to easily connect via eARC. Overall, I highly recommend this OLED 77C64. For a 'mid-range' price, you now get the latest generation of technology in the 77C6 and 83C6. Anyone who wants even more and only the very best will pay a bit extra for the G series.
