The software author apparently had the idea that the faster I turn the dial, the faster the set time will change. Unfortunately, they didn't quite get it right, because changing the set time by 30s almost always ends up shifting it by several tens of minutes. What's more, the magnets in the timer's base are quite weak and the timer is very light, so when setting it, I have to hold the base of the device with the fingertips of one hand and carefully turn the outer ring. Awkward, impractical, it went in the bin after six months of trying.
