I have a blind cat, so choosing a scratching post for him that was a given bunch wider so he wouldn't be so scared and more confident there was challenging. After a long search I discovered this and can recommend it. He is so happy there that he rolls on every floor (except the "swing" downstairs), plays with hanging balls and grinds his claws on the legs of the scratching post.
price vs performance
ideal size
the legs of the scraper have illogically positioned scraping surfaces

Satisfaction
the cat likes him very much.
2 beds upstairs, one "net" for lying down, lots of scratching posts.

It lived up to expectations. The cats use it every day and yet it is still in pretty good condition.
