If you have a requirement for Intel and keep the option open for minor upgrades, this is a good choice.
Overall I have mixed feelings about the performance, hopefully Intel will improve.
Large number of newer USB ports
It takes full advantage of the mATX case dimensions so you can fit more cards. But beware - you can't put a second high-performance graphics down without a large ATX case, there's only room for a single-slot card in the bottom PCIe slot with mATX.
4 RAM slots
Passive coolers - won't start whirring in a few months
A significantly sized processor power supply (8+4pin) meets the "bad year" of Intel, which makes up for computing power with higher consumption
Network connection only 1Gb, in this category I would expect 2.5Gb nowadays
