This isn't an LED as stated in the product title and description, it's a CFL bulb (compact fluorescent lamp), which is a great shame because a CFL bulb is much less efficient than an LED and contains toxic mercury vapour, which is dangerous if it breaks. It's only 13–14W, not 25W as written in the description and on the product box. Nevertheless, it works and serves its purpose as a UV light for exciting fluorescent objects, but the performance is nothing special. The light from this bulb has a wavelength of 380–320nm with a peak wavelength of 365nm, which corresponds to a quality CFL UV bulb. The light from this bulb looks very interesting and unique, it's a colour I've never seen before and it's hard to describe – the light simply has a very dark and deep violet-magenta colour. It's mad, but the bulb itself has a strong violet-pink colour when it's switched on, which is also very interesting. I'm giving it 3 stars, not because the product is poor quality – quite the opposite, the product is good quality and works – but because it doesn't match the description. It was supposed to be an LED but it's a CFL, and it was supposed to be 25W but it's only 13–14W, so that's why it's only 3 stars.
