Read the review of VE510 dated 2025-02-14 -> I would like to sign it and thank the author, because it helped me a lot in my choice. Model VE502 is actually an analogue variant of the same with water tank placed separately
IT JUST WORKS - a smaller room like a children's room melts +9% in ~45 min. Larger room type kk needs longer time, but the humidity remains even after several hours (measured by certified instrument for 4k CZK ~ 5m from the ventilator)! All this on medium power. I attribute this to the fact that it is a very natural way of producing it. It actually works like taking a shower and then blowing hot steam into the apartment. Other humidifiers work by standing on the ground and vertically blowing steam upwards, i.e. the humidity only by gravity falls into the circuit around the device, there it increases by leaps (thus the device reduces the performance by auto-regulation), but ~ 2.5 m from the device you measure the humidity still the same bad
Analog buttons on main unit, thumbs up
Good design remote (batteries not included ofc)
Quality of workmanship ok for being Italian. 2 vertical tubes, tied in stand => venitlator does not swing even with SWING function and uneven ground. Sure, I look at the rotor and it probably won't last much longer than the warranty period, but then again, it's not cheap China breathing out of it
Water tank design, which is separated from the main unit. When changing the water, you will notice that there is water underneath it (that is why you need to change it once every 3 days). This is caused by the MIST function being activated and a vacuum being created. At first I considered it a minus, but at least you have access to it and you can easily pour the water (even into a water tank). Other fans have a water tank integrated directly into the body, thus posing the difficult problem of how to pour the water out without dismantling half of the device.
The design is fine and fits in with the darker living room
I have tried a long line of products on the market and this is the ONLY category that can consistently increase humidity in a larger apartment. I send the biggest minus with kind forgiveness to Alza.cz: I wish you had more of these fans with humidification in stock, thank you for considering
It has no wheels. It's not comfortable to move around the apartment. But it holds firmly in place (see the + section), it's a trade-off of something for something.
Relatively sharp red LEDs that can't be turned off, nor their brigthness dimmed
