After the excellent almonds and raisins that I bought last week, which were of great quality, I purchased a 1kg pack of unsalted roasted peanuts, origin Argentina. After the first taste, I had to spit them out. The peanuts were disgustingly oxidised and rancid. I didn't even have to look for the manufacturer, and although they weren't marked on the packaging, I knew who it was. They also supply Tesco with the same rubbish. The batch number format gave it away.
the peanuts, although with a best before date of 03/2027, were disgustingly rancid, I returned the goods immediately

big disappointment. I normally buy Grizly nuts. about 10x Bery Jones and these are the worst of them. do not recommend
they are barely salty
They taste stale/damp, even though the expiry date is 3/2027
the least tasty peanuts I've ever had
tiny nuts, probably 2nd quality or old
