We bought the fridge to replace our ten-year-old Beko, which didn't survive the move. It's definitely much quieter in comparison, which is handy if you have an open-plan living room and kitchen. The combined dispenser for ice, crushed ice and water is well designed. As for the app, we're still getting used to it and we'll see what it has to offer; I mainly expect updates and alarms if anything goes wrong. Anyway, I can recommend the fridge. For us, it was a great replacement for the Beko, and Bosch was the clear choice because our other appliances are from this brand and I like it when things match. Oh, and maybe a heads-up about the water connection – the thread on the hose is bigger than the valves I had for connecting the old fridge, but a reducer will sort it…

We recently purchased the Bosch KFD96APEA fridge and we're very satisfied. What surprised me the most is how incredibly quiet it is – you can barely hear it running in the kitchen. The internal storage space is really generous and well-utilised. I also really like the ice maker with its replaceable filter located inside the fridge, not outside like on other models – it looks more elegant and doesn't take up any extra space. Overall, the appliance is very precisely made, you can see the quality materials and attention to detail. My only minor criticism is opening the right-hand door on its own – it's a little stiff. But that's really just a cosmetic issue that doesn't spoil the overall impression. For the price, it's an absolutely brilliant choice, I'd recommend it.

We spent several hours choosing, deciding between French Door models from Bosch, Samsung and LG in the price range of around 50,000 CZK. The fridge is replacing a roughly 20-year-old LG with Door-in-Door, so we have a direct comparison. The requirements were a water connection and a matte silver/stainless steel finish. The biggest downside compared to the previous LG is the absence of a minibar. Fridges like that are practically not sold anymore today. The second disadvantage is that 1.5L PET bottles and standard wine bottles do not fit in the door. The biggest advantage is the layout of the internal space. Although the Bosch has only a 36-litre larger capacity than the previous LG (375/199L vs. 362/176L), it feels significantly more spacious thanks to the layout. The six smaller freezer drawers are more practical and easier to navigate than the three large ones in other models. The versatility of the shelves in the fridge section and the high-quality drawer runners are also nice. Home Connect allows you to control temperatures, SuperFreeze/SuperCool modes, the ice maker, and the lighting. It also works flawlessly with Home Assistant, which, however, does not display all the information available in the Home Connect app due to public API limitations (e.g., the status of the water filter or the ice container). Overall, we are satisfied with our choice so far.
The matte stainless steel finish is well-done, fingerprints are less visible and wipe away easily.
