I was convinced to buy these blotting papers by a friend who highly recommended them as a handy helper for touching up makeup during the day. And since I love a perfectly matte look, I decided to give them a try. I usually wear quite heavy, full-coverage makeup. On top of that, I move around a lot during the day, travel, and sometimes sweat, so my skin gradually starts to shine. And that's exactly what I try to avoid – I definitely don't want my face to look like a greasy pancake by the end of the day :D I have to admit, the papers actually work. When I press them onto the shiny areas, they absorb the excess oil nicely, and my skin looks neater again. In this respect, I have nothing to complain about. Gradually, however, I realised that I don't actually use them as often as I initially expected. Personally, I prefer to invest in a really high-quality setting and mattifying powder to help me maintain the desired makeup look, which I can also take with me for minor touch-ups during the day. So I probably won't buy another pack, but definitely not because the product is bad. On the contrary, it does its job very well! I just found out that it's not a must-have for my needs. But if you're looking for an easy way to get rid of greasy shine during the day without adding another layer of powder, they are definitely worth a try.
They effectively absorb excess sebum, quickly remove unwanted shine, don't weigh down the skin with another layer of powder, and are practical to carry in a handbag. The formula with panthenol and allantoin is a nice bonus.
They contain fragrance, which might not suit sensitive skin. For me personally, they aren't so indispensable that I would need to buy them regularly.
