The transflective colour LCD display is an advantage (and disadvantage). Readable on steep sunlight without backlight where another OLED may not be visible, has less power consumption, and you can see the time even in power saving mode! no backlight on, up to 7 days without charging (in low light the display backlights). Just looks dull compared to OLED with lighting then to blue
I found the size of the Vivoactive S with the 1.1 inch to be small, but a petite woman is getting used to "big watches". The size is thus optimal for women with good eyesight

The transflective display was disappointing according to some discussants. It actually looks worse than the OLED on the Gramin Ven. Prepare for lower contrast, blue backlighting and lower resolution compared to Garmin Venu. But otherwise, the advantage of Garmins. It can provide readability without having to turn on the backlight and readability in bright sunlight If someone would like a blue tint, worse resolution, buy Garmin Venu but count on more wear and tear and the need to turn on the display.
