Our first experience with an American fridge. We liked the design and specifications of the fridge. We originally wanted a direct connection to the mains water supply, but because these fridges are quite deep, we opted for the model with a water tank, which is about 63 cm deep and fits perfectly into the space. We’ve had it for a few days now, and so far the water from the tank isn’t drinkable; we’ve already washed it out several times, but the water still has a strange aftertaste. Perhaps things will improve over time. The fridge switches on very often and I find it quite noisy when it’s running. Because of the ice maker, the freezer has a few tiny shelves that don’t hold much. The fridge compartment is great – it’s spacious – and that’s the only real reason to buy this fridge.
